Rotator Cuff Sling

Whether it's tendonitis of the rotator cuff or a partial or full tear, recovering the shoulder joint like this often requires immobilisation for a period of time. Slinging the shoulder joint is the best way to do this, but with cheap fabric slings from the hospital or chemist often causing as many problems as they solve, finding a rotator cuff sling that works properly can be tricky.

Thankfully Bauerfeind makes this easy, with our sling for rotator cuff injury. Using lightweight and comfortable materials and simple anatomic design, our rotator cuff sling allows for any kind of movement while keeping the shoulder in place.

Find answers to the most common questions.

Can't I just use a support instead of a sling?

Wearing a sling is the best way to recover from a rotator cuff tear as it allows the tendons and surrounding muscles to heal properly without strain or stress. You can choose to wear a shoulder support instead that allows you to move completely, but this will impair the recovery of the joint.

Can I still play sports in these?

Virtually all of our supports are designed for active use, whether it's on the sports field, in the gym, or just for a run around the block.

What makes these products better than others?

Simply put, Bauerfeind have set the global standard for medical braces, compression and insoles. Using the highest quality materials to construct decades-refined products that have been clinically proven to address a vast range of issues. There's no substitute for quality, and Bauerfeind have that from the simplest strap to the largest brace.

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
