Hip Braces – Joint Stability Support

Hip Braces for Bursitis, Arthritis & Hip Stability

Whether you’re managing hip pain, supporting joint stability or improving everyday movement, these supports deliver reliable, clinically backed results.

Hip pain can interrupt everything – walking, training, sleeping, or simply getting through daily tasks. Whether your symptoms come from hip bursitis, arthritis, labral irritation, muscle weakness, or post-injury instability, the right hip brace can support the joint, reduce pain, and restore mobility.

We’ve been developing medical-grade supports for nearly a century, combining anatomical design with decades of research to help people move more comfortably and confidently.

Support for Common Hip Conditions

Our hip braces are designed to help manage:

• Hip bursitis and inflammation
• Mild osteoarthritis
• Labral irritation and instability

By applying targeted compression around the pelvis and hip, these supports help:

Comfortable, Anatomical Design

A hip brace needs to stay secure and comfortable as you move. Our designs incorporate:

• Soft, breathable compression knit
• Anatomically contoured pads for targeted relief
• Adjustable straps for personalised support
• A low-profile fit suitable for daily wear

This combination ensures all-day comfort without restricting natural mobility.

Find Your Ideal Fit

Our sizing system is based on measurements from over 500,000 individuals, ensuring a supportive and accurate fit for every body shape. The adjustable strap system allows you to fine-tune the brace as swelling or symptoms change.

Why do I need a hip brace?

When your hip is injured, affected by disease or other issues, each step can cause not only pain and discomfort, but aggravate the problem over time. Whether you've got some pain or stiffness from arthritis, a sore joint after a fall or injury, or there's a more serious issue at play, wearing a hip brace works to alleviate the pain and discomfort felt while also stabilising the joint to reduce the ongoing strain and deterioration of the hip.

Will these weaken my muscles?

While cheaper and less effective braces can cause an issue known as reliance (where the muscles become weaker and rely on the brace), Bauerfeind have perfected the blend of stability and movement. By restricting or immobilising specific parts of the ankle that need it, and freeing up the rest, you can continue to exercise, building and maintaining strength in the joint.

Can I wear these all day?

Virtually all our medical supports are designed to be worn for any length of time, whether it's half an hour after exercise to recover the muscle, or first thing in the morning to last thing at night.

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

Is there warranty for these products?

Every Bauerfeind product is crafted with precision and care and is covered by a manufacturing warranty in accordance with Consumer Law. Warranty periods may vary subject to product range. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
