Rolling Ankle Braces

Rolling your ankle can be a mild issue that gives a bit of soreness or tenderness for a day or two. Sometimes it can be so serious that you can't put even the tiniest amount of weight on the ankle without it hurting. Among other things, wearing an ankle brace to prevent rolling helps greatly for those playing sports, going for walks or just walking about home.

Bauerfeind have taken the best in research and clinical testing to provide a range of supports to restore control, provide stability and strengthen the joint. For any brace to prevent the ankle from rolling, see Bauerfeind.

Find answers to the most common questions.

Why does my ankle keep rolling?

When the ligaments in the ankle are injured, they can become weakened long-term, leading to general instability in the ankle, often resulting in rolling ankles. Bracing helps to reduce this strain by strengthening the muscles and ligaments, helping you to move with confidence.

Will these weaken my muscles?

While cheaper and less effective braces can cause an issue known as reliance (where the muscles become weaker and rely on the brace), Bauerfeind have perfected the blend of stability and movement. By restricting or immobilising specific parts of the ankle that need it, and freeing up the rest, you can continue to exercise, building and maintaining strength in the joint.

What makes these products better than others?

Simply put, Bauerfeind have set the global standard for medical braces, compression and insoles. Using the highest quality materials to construct decades-refined products that have been clinically proven to address a vast range of issues. There's no substitute for quality, and Bauerfeind have that from the simplest strap to the largest brace.

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
