Post Surgery Wrist Braces

Wrist surgery can be required for a whole range of issues, from nerve impingement/issues to arthritis or fracture. Taking care of the wrist post-op is crucial for the long-term health of the joint, and along with rehab and medication, using a post surgery wrist brace is one of the best things you can do to stabilise it and allow it to fully recover.

How do these help post-surgery?

When the wrist has had some kind of surgery, it usually needs to be kept in position afterwards, with minimal strain. Sometimes there's swelling and inflammation in the days or weeks afterwards. Bauerfeind's range of wrist supports have been extensively shown to alleviate these problems for the best post-op recovery.

What makes these products better than others?

Using the highest quality materials to construct decades-refined products that have been clinically proven to address a vast range of issues. There's no substitute for quality, and Bauerfeind have that from the simplest strap to the largest brace.

How long do they last?

Bauerfeind's high quality construction and design mean that all of our products go the distance, especially when cared for properly. Below is a rough outline of how long products last before they start to lose their effectiveness over time.

Compression Stockings - 6 to 9 months of daily wear

Braces & supports - 1 to two years of daily wear

Insoles - 9 to 12 months of daily wear

It's important to note that this is a rough guideline, and each person's usage and general care can change the longevity of the product either way

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
