Open Toe Compression Pantyhose

My first purchase was the black VenoTrain Micro Pantyhose Compression Stockings. With summer approaching, I thought the open toe design in a light colour would be good for wearing with sandals when it was hot. Initially I was quite happy with the open toe design, however depending on the shoe design, the foot part of the stocking can ride back on the foot and is uncomfortable. On one occasion when I was walking for a while, the stocking worked its way back up the heel and gathered around my ankle. Very uncomfortable as it felt like it was cutting into my leg. It has been fine so far with socks, but that was defeating the purpose of buying them for summer. I will get the colour again, which I like, but not the open toe.

Bauerfeind Australia

Hi Cheryl, thanks for leaving a review! We are sorry to hear the open-toe design proved uncomfortable for you. Unfortunately, as the foot moves a lot and rubs against shoes, the grip can be unpredictable in some cases - especially if you have very slender feet or the stockings aren't the correct size. We will be sure to send your feedback to our technicians. If you have any concerns with sizing, don't hesitate to reach out to us on 1300 668 466 or info@bauerfeind.com.au. Cheers :)

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these stockings contain silicon?

Thanks to our perfect fit anatomical sizing system, there's no need for the pantyhose stockings to have any silicon grip, so they're great for anyone, even those with skin sensitivity.

How regularly should I wear the stockings?

This changes from person to person, but in general it's recommended to wear them during work, especially if you're seated or standing for extended periods of time.

Are they hard to take care of?

The VenoTrain Micro range is easy to clean (just a hand-wash in lukewarm water and drying out of direct sunlight). With a range of accessories available like the VenoTrain Glider and the donning gloves, it's easier than ever to keep your stockings in great condition.
