Can I claim back on private health insurance?

Each and every health insurer has different levels of coverage with different conditions. While our supports are often successfully claimed back on by many of our customers, it changes depending on your insurance provider, and it's best to contact them and check your plan to see.

While cheaper and less effective braces can cause an issue known as reliance (where the muscles become weaker and rely on the brace), Bauerfeind have perfected the blend of stability and movement. By restricting or immobilising specific parts of the ankle that need it, and freeing up the rest, you can continue to exercise, building and maintaining strength in the joint.

Simply put, Bauerfeind have set the global standard for medical braces, compression and insoles. Using the highest quality materials to construct decades-refined products that have been clinically proven to address a vast range of issues. There's no substitute for quality, and Bauerfeind have that from the simplest strap to the largest brace.

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

Every Bauerfeind product is crafted with precision and care and is covered by a manufacturing warranty in accordance with Consumer Law. Warranty periods may vary subject to product range. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.
